How to operate the MBR System for Wastewater Treatment and set the running Parameters?
This Packaged MBR System in containerized, it’s for our client who will put in an industrial application (as this year they have celebrated their 30th anniversary) and the waters they must treat are “reluctant” wastewaters, with high values of BOD, COD and SS. Specifically, this wastewater is generated in the washing of flexographic printers and in textile printing.
The MBR applies to all water and wastewater treatment processes, integrating a permselective membrane with a biological process.
How to operate the MBR System for Wastewater Treatment?
The MBR cycle suction pump design works as 7 minutes working 1 minute relax Suction Pump: one working one standby, every 2 hours exchange it
During permeate process, open permeate valve first then open the suction pump
Flux rate is normally designed: 12.5–15L/m2. H
Backwash frequency: Every 5 hours working 5 minutes with clean water
And every week use Online Chemical Cleaning (CIP) 30 minutes.
The Backwash flux rate: 2 times of Permeate flux Membrane
Fine bubble aeration rate: 0.2m3/m2.H
Air blower: one working one standby, every 2 hours exchange it
Reflux Pump rate: 2 times of Permeate flux If the MLSS is not high, in the beginning, set 1 hour working 1 hour stop
